Onsite Foot Care

Healthy feet are the foundation for maintaining daily activities and mobility. For seniors living in skilled-nursing facilities, these can be key factors to maintaining their quality of life.

If a senior is unable to reach their feet, they can’t provide the regular self-care they need. This means nails can’t be trimmed, feet can’t be cleaned or moisturized, and diabetics can’t notice potential foot wounds or issues. Aria Care Partners engages with skilled-nursing facilities to make foot care a priority, and to make it easy and beneficial for everyone involved. A team of licensed and trained podiatry professionals visit regularly to provide onsite foot-care treatments and services for your loved one, including:

Below are some of the frequently asked questions about Aria Care Partner's Foot Care Program. 

Currently, Aria doesn’t offer an insurance policy for podiatry care. Aria does offer insurance for dental, vision, and hearing care.

People with diabetes can have nerve damage (neuropathy), and often the feet and legs are affected. When there’s nerve damage, a person might not feel pain, which means they might not notice a blister or sore (ulcer), which left untreated can lead to bigger problems.1

Untreated nerve damage has the potential to lead to “Charcot foot,” which is a pattern of bone damage that can lead to foot deformity.2
