What You'll Do

Below are some of the frequently asked questions about Aria Care Partners' Optometry Care Program.

Our traveling/contract optometrists typically go to facilities that are from 20 minutes to 2 hours from their home, with driving mileage fully reimbursed. If you are licensed in more than one state, you could also have the opportunity to travel, with all of expenses covered.

Most of our Optometrists start seeing patients around 9:00 am and are done by mid-afternoon. Including your drive time, your day is typically a maximum of 8 hours.

You’ll need an OD degree (Doctor of Optometry), and will need to be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the state you’ll be working in. New grads are welcome!

You can choose which days of the week are best for you and can work anywhere from a few days per month to full-time. Your schedule as a mobile Optometrist is typically set 4-6 weeks in advance, giving you amazing flexibility. Going on vacation and need an adjustment? Just let us know in advance and we can be as flexible as needed.

Yes, we have a production-based model that offers a competitive percentage of collections and a guaranteed daily minimum rate. Some of our Optometrists' job openings also offer a sign-on bonus.
