Dental Care
Why is dental care important?
Without it, the increase of bacteria can directly affect resident health and quality of life, causing infection and related symptoms as well as medication-related issues.
How are emergencies handled?
We have emergency forms that can be faxed 24/7 to a direct clinical line at any time, as well as a 24/7 clinical emergency phone line that is monitored continuously. If you have a dental emergency, you will receive a call from a member of our team within 24 hours to determine the next step. We will be able to put you in touch with a DDS if necessary, and the DDS will guide treatment from there.
Are you able to perform extractions onsite?
Yes, we can perform simple extractions onsite. Our DDS will determine if a specific extraction is safe for them to complete onsite. If the DDS cannot safely perform an extraction onsite, we will help you find an outside solution for residents on our plan.
Are dentures delivered and fitted onsite?
Yes – we can fabricate a denture from start to finish onsite. We can also complete any follow-up visit to ensure that the denture fits and functions well going forward.
What type of services are offered?
We offer routine exams and cleanings (both natural teeth cleaning and denture cleaning), we provide onsite fillings, extractions, and digital x-rays. We offer new complete and partial denture fabrication and denture adjustments, relines, and repairs.
Vision Care
Why is vision care important?
Annual eye exams are essential for anyone with diabetes or those at risk for eye disease (due to age over 65, obesity, family history, or other reasons). Only a comprehensive eye exam can detect signs of diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, or other eye diseases, so treatment can begin early to prevent vision loss.
What is included in our onsite comprehensive medical eye exam?
  • Glaucoma testing and treatment
  • Diabetic ocular evaluation
  • Cataract Detection
  • Vision assessment
  • Exam of retina, iris, cornea, lids, and lashes
  • Muscle balance and eye coordination
  • Vision analysis for prescription glasses
  • Referrals to specialists when needed<
How are emergencies handled?
On the day of our visit, emergencies are given priority care to address the patient’s emergent needs. On-call emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis, where our skilled team helps coordinate the best care strategy for the patient.
Do you provide eyeglasses?
  • We offer a broad selection of eye frames onsite available for both men and women.
  • We offer bifocals, trifocals, and single-lens frames, with additional lens options available.
What if my loved one already has an eye doctor?
  • We can assume your loved one’s eye care in the comfort of their facility.
  • We offer complete follow up for medical diagnosis in addition to routine care.
  • Our eyeglasses are fitted and provided onsite.
  • Or if you prefer, you may continue care with your current eye doctor outside the facility.
What if my loved one is legally blind? Will they still benefit from medical eye care?
Yes, they do. A regular eye examination can reveal much about overall health and help prevent further issues. In some cases, such as diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma, the cause of blindness may need monitoring. Also, routine eye care can detect any problems that may cause additional pain or discomfort to an already blind eye.
Hearing Care
How will hearing aids function with oxygen, cannula over the ears?
We have choices available to accommodate the best fit.
How do I know if they are wearing the hearing aids?
Equipped to log use at routine visits.
Will batteries be provided?
Yes, they are offered during routine visits.
Are there measures to avoid lost/misplaced hearing aids?
